Extreme Hotels has just signed another awesome deal with the 'daddy cools' of the Middle East: Plantation Group Dubai , to develop, roll out and operate 19 new Extreme Hotels across the region over the next seven years. The teams from both camps have been in negotiations over the past few months and signed the deal last week. The planned roll outs for this hotel chain are three in Dubai, three in Oman and three in Saudi Arabia by 2009 with further individual hotels planned for the UAE, Qatar, Oman Bahrain, Kuwait, Egypt, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon through the term. The Peninsula: The Qatar Tourism Authority’s (QTA) strategic plan is to have 50,000 hotel rooms in the country by 2016, said Ahmed Abdullah Al Nuaimi, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of QTA.

SAUDI real estate development firm Ishraqah has finalised a deal with Grow Projects to sell The Onyx Hotel, one of the prime projects of its Dh1.8 billion ($490 million) The Onyx development on Dubai’s Sheikh Zayed Road.
